Gmail Spam Filter By-Pass

I have recently received a lot of spam mails that by-pass Gmail Spam Filter. The subject was something like “Appointment” ; “Re: Site Recommendation” ; “I have found the best prices” and etc. The message inside the mail is short without any links. One example :

We are offering an extended list and variety of your favorite M e d products!
With fast discreet trackable U-S.P-S shipping!
Remember to get more and save!
Stop by anytime; trafrx . com

I believe many of you may have a similar spam mail that bypass Gmail Filter System. The only way to stop this is to create a filter to include “U-S.P-S shipping”. Most of the spam mails I got contain this keyword.

In fact this type of spam not only bypass Gmail spam filter but also Mailwasher that I am using to filter POP3 accounts. I am trying to figure out a regular expression that I can use in Mailwasher.

Filezilla 3.0 Final

Filezilla 3.0 has finally released. If you do not know what is Filezilla for, it is a fast and reliable cross-platform FTP, FTPS and SFTP client with lots of useful features and an intuitive interface. Most importantly, it is free. One feature I would like to see is the support of “Tabs” like SmartFTP. If they include this feature, it would be perfect. Let see what they have in terms of feature :

  • Easy to use
  • Supports FTP, FTP over SSL/TLS (FTPS) and SSH File Transfer Protocol (SFTP)
  • Cross-platform. Runs on Windows, Linux, *BSD, OSX and more
  • Available in many languages
  • Supports resume and transfer of large files >4GB
  • Powerful Site Manager and transfer queue
  • Drag & drop support
  • Configurable Speed limits
  • Filename filters
  • Network configuration wizard
