Google Map Routing No Longer Works for Malaysia
About 1 month ago, I was trying out Google Map Routing (Malaysia) by right-clicking a street and select “Direction From here” and another road by selecting “Direction To Here” and voila, it worked by showing a transparent line to show direction. But 2 weeks ago until now, it no longer works. Whenever I pick a road and select direction “from here” & “to here”, it only show those numbers without the street name and an error message appears on the left side “We could not calculate driving directions between 3.154571, 101.651688 and 3.164341,101.687565″. No matter which street name I select, the same error happens. For Singapore, Thailand, etc, it works great.
Well, not sure. Maybe Google disable this function for Malaysia Map. It was working great previously except the street / address search function but now everything is not working. Only the map is viewable but better than nothing.
Anyone from Malaysia having the same issue? Anyone know why? Maybe Google staff can comment here 
ya, it used to work and then it doesn’t, try thailand and singapore and they still work, i wonder why?
yeah, me too… just knew about it when i try to use google maps mobile.

It’s being sometime already. Hope they put them back soon.
i’v been reported to google maps about our situation, without any specific answer, there just said google permanently stop the service until further notice. hemmm, strange yaa…..
well, at the moment i’m using nokia maps which look ok , paid RM 137.00 for 3 month licensed. can continue or stop it any time.
RM 137 per month is expensive. I bought a PDA with GPS as my travel guide. I use Google Map mainly indoor especially for web design job where I can place a directional map in their About Us page.
