I went into Sitepoint forum today and browse through the “Established Sites For Sales” section. Well I couldn’t believe that there are so many people selling sites to cash in. Then I sorted the list based on Price and wow, there’s a site selling at USD 30,000. But of course, no bid so far. Then I take my sweet time going through every single post and some were very interesting that they claimed to be cashing in a monthly revenue of several thousands USD. Does it worth to buy a ready-made site that may take 1 - 2 years to get back what you have invested?

Then I went into Digitalpoint Forum and check their “Site For Sales” section and I found a site (PR5) claiming to be earning USD 7,000 to 8,000 a month through adsense for sales. The site is run by an Indian. I have visited the site and found the contents to be good. He even posted a screenshot of the site statistic & earning in adsense. Wow, in June, he is cashing in USD 7,XXX and July - 8,XXX. Now, I wonder why is he selling a site which can generate more than USD 7,000 a month. in fact, many members asked a similar question and his answer was that “He is selling website for a living”.

Seem interesting, right! Now, I think you are waiting for the most important info, “How much did he sell the site?”. Well, all offers are through PM (Private Message) and the seller claimed the current bid is USD 80,000 and he is asking for USD 100,000. That huge sum of money but it only takes 12.5 months to get back USD 100,000 if the monthly revenue is USD 8,000. It is considered a very good investment.

Even more interesting that many people there worried that this is a scam or something but the seller is willing to sign a contract specifying that the monthly revenue and statistics are all genuine. For more info, visit DigitalForum.
